Jordan Eismont 917.548.0043 w: jordan.eismont.com e: jordan (at) eismont (dot) com STATEMENT OF INTENT: Upon graduating from FIDM, Jordan embarked on a project of bridging art and fashion in a way that might be more accessible to the public. Referencing the image work in his earlier paintings, and the sense of flow from his competitive snow boarding days, Jordan created a series of paintings of abstract figures which pushed the boundaries of human anatomy while keeping the general characteristics of the human figure in motion. Jordan then applied a series of similar figures to T-shirt designs. Both paintings and T-shirts were showcased at FootHill Gallery in Long Beach, CA, and at “F as in Frank”, a clothing store in Vancouver, Canada. Menswear is his main focus.
